Jeeon (www.jeeon.co) is a Bangladeshi social enterprise, with the vision of Making Wellbeing Universal. We are upgrading and digitizing pharmacies and medicine shops across Bangladesh so that the 70% of Bangladeshis that rely on them for health products, services, and information receive better quality healthcare.

We are incorporated and funded in the US, based in the capital of social sector innovation, and are one of the "Top 10 Startups" incubated by the Bangladesh Government. We are also Fellows of Unreasonable Institute (now Uncharted), Mulago Foundation, Spring Accelerator, Aspen Institute, and Acumen Academy, and hence deeply connected to Silicon Valley and the global social enterprise ecosystem.

• Conduct phone Survey with Rural Medical Practitioners (RMPs) & Pharmacies to collect data
• Record the collected data accurately in an online form
• Coordinate with the volunteers regarding any issue while collecting the data
• Maintain a good relationship with the data providers (RMPs/ Pharmacists) and  volunteers
• Make at least 30 successful calls every day
• Other relevant tasks as assigned by management

* Nature of customer calls data and entry tasks may evolve over the course of employment

Required Qualifications:

• Current student (Undergraduate) OR recent graduate
• Excellent Bangla communication skills
• Ability to use laptop: basic use of browser, Excel, and Word
• Self-motivated
• Strong work ethic
• Have to work from home so good internet connection is a necessity

Preferred Characteristics:

• Strong preference for female candidates
• Have personal laptop
• Fast typing speed (60 WPM or greater)

Position: Contractual Employment

Contract start date: May 1st, 2021 (Tentative)

Contract period: 2 months (contract renewals upon satisfactory performance)

Daily Working Hours: Six Days from (8 hours daily, 10am to 6pm but timings may shift)    Off Day- Friday & Other Govt. Holidays (Has to be On Call) 

Salary Structure: Fixed BDT 10,000 (Ten Thousands Taka) per Month.

Mobile Allowance: BDT 1,500 Monthly
