Proposal & Grant Writer

  • Full-time

Company Description

Jeeon (www.jeeon.co) is a social business improving rural healthcare and promoting wellbeing by upgrading retail pharmacies in Bangladesh. Jeeon connects pharmacies and informal drug shops to quality training, health products and authentic drugs, and referral networks to build their capacity while seamlessly integrating them with the formal sector.

Launched in 2015, Jeeon now has the largest digital network of non-franchised drug sellers in the country with reach to over 20,000 small pharmacies and medicine shops across Bangladesh, providing CME e-learning, referral and e-commerce solutions, through an app and social media platform called JeeonConnect.

In these 5 years, we have served over 40,000 patients directly with triage/screening, doctor teleconsultations, referrals and impactful health products (such as eyeglasses), and have directly facilitated over 200 discounted surgeries from partner hospitals and NGOs. Our e-commerce solution has increased access to quality drugs for rural populations, helps combat counterfeit and low-quality drugs, and delivers improved efficiency and sales to quality pharmaceutical companies.
