Onsite Sr. Project Manager for CRM is accountable for the delivery of Salesforce Implementation, development and systems integration projects. Owns Implementation and solution delivery and is ultimately responsible for project leadership, management, quality, and timely / cost-effective delivery. The Sr. Project Manager has to work effectively with senior management and multiple stakeholders. The Project Manager must also be able to lead technical personnel (Development Team Managers, Systems Analysts, Developers, Testers), provide input to functional design and architecture, track and resolve technical issues during build and test phases, and overall to successfully develop and deliver technical solutions.

 

Essential Functions

  • Provide overall leadership, and direct teams in the delivery of high-quality products on time and within budget.
  • Manage business requirements and scope on a technical level, and coordinate between cross-functional teams to ensure product adherence to business requirements and architectural direction.
  • Team with other Project Managers to coordinate work effort between analysis, development, architecture, operations, release management, and quality assurance teams, and partner with onsite delivery manager to ensure alignment of technical solutions to business objectives and priorities.
  • Provide key input / status to senior-level business stakeholders during project design, build, and testing phases.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with business clients to ensure that their needs are articulated in business and technological terms.
  • Directly and indirectly manage the work effort of Jade development personnel and 3rd party vendors, in the delivery of assigned projects and programs.
  • Must be able to create and maintain a plan using Project Management tools and report weekly progress based on the plan
  • Coordinates and communicates night of deployment status and issues to leadership on planned deployment dates

 

Qualifications

Minimum Required

  • Skills and knowledge acquired through professional Development, Tech. Lead, and Management experience are required in following areas: Project Management, Change Management, Release Management, Systems Integration, Systems Development Life Cycle Methodologies, Quality Assurance and Testing, Requirements Gathering, and Systems Analysis and Design
  • 15-20 years of related experience and training in the above disciplines
  • 10+ years of management or project lead experience required
  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce project management
  • Sales force knowledge is required.
  • Drive the client implementations and oversee delivery of key project deliverables Coordinate all key project stakeholders
  • Resolve issues that stand in the way of project success
  • Participate in writing Statements of Work and proposals
  • Conduct project reviews to assess project outcomes and team performance
  • Experience working in a professional services environment preferred
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skills (proficiency in Visio, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) and lead sponsors/stakeholders to the solution of business process and/or technical problems
  • Experience in project management disciplines scope, schedule, budget, risk, and issue management,
  • Experience in Project Management tools for planning, monitoring, and reporting
  • Experience in onshore/offshore model for project delivery
  • Experience in development of custom applications using Sales cloud, service cloud, customer and partner communities
  • Experience in development of web/SOAP, REST, XML services.
  • Experience designing and developing applications on Salesforce platform
  • Experience with multiple delivery methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, RUP, Agile/SCRUM)
  • Ability to triage issues across multiple systems and drive technical issues to resolution.
  • Ability to lead by influence up, down, and across an organization

Good to have:

  • IT industry experience

·       Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience

·       PMP certification

·       CSM certification

·       Sales force Admin certification
