Job Description
Elevate your career with Jack Link’s, a global leader in protein snacking. We are looking for an experienced Quality Systems Lead to support the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of our Food Safety and Quality systems at our Casino production facility.
This role will work closely with our Site FSQ team, New Zealand team, R&D, Technical, Regulatory and operational teams to ensure our systems, standards and specifications support product quality, food safety, customer expectations, GFSI standards and regulatory requirements.

About the role
As the Quality Systems Lead, you will support the ongoing management and improvement of our site quality and food safety systems.
In this role, you will:
- Work with the New Zealand team to implement and align with the existing Food Safety and Quality framework
- Lead audit and assessment activities to ensure quality systems meet GFSI, customer and regulatory requirements
- Manage and improve processing control standards to support product quality, customer, regulatory and food safety outcomes
- Act as site HACCP Coordinator, supporting the review and implementation of HACCP systems
- Review, update and maintain the PLM database in collaboration with Technical and R&D teams
- Create and maintain specifications, work instructions, SOPs and job aides within PLM/IL
- Work with R&D and Regulatory to review new raw materials, product information and specifications
- Identify potential allergen, labelling or food safety impacts from new materials or process changes
- Support continuous improvement by identifying gaps and working with key stakeholders to improve current processes
- Provide relief support for Site FSQ audit duties when required
Qualifications
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone with strong food safety, quality systems and manufacturing knowledge, who can work across teams and turn technical requirements into practical site outcomes.
What matters most is that you:
- Have experience in food safety, quality assurance, technical or quality systems
- Understand HACCP, food safety systems and GFSI standards
- Can review, maintain and improve systems, standards and processes
- Are confident working with specifications, product information and technical documentation
- Communicate clearly with different teams and stakeholders
- Have strong attention to detail and a practical approach to problem solving
- Are comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Experience with PLM systems, audits, specification management, food manufacturing, allergens, labelling or regulatory requirements will be highly regarded.
