Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
As the HRIS Manager at Jack Link’s Beef Jerky, you will lead the management and optimization of our Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to support our fast-paced, growth-oriented CPG environment. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, security, and integrity of our HR data, driving system enhancements, and supporting HR processes with technology solutions that help fuel our iconic brand’s success. You will collaborate with HR, IT, Payroll, and business leaders across our manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and corporate offices.
This position requires four days a week onsite in our Minneapolis office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the daily operation, maintenance, and data integrity of the HRIS, ensuring system reliability for a multi-site CPG workforce.
- Create and analyze employee data and develop executive level HR scorecards and summaries for HR Business Partners and senior business leaders.
- Provide data insights and trends based on employee data along with providing recommendations on improvements.
- Manage HRIS projects, including upgrades, new module rollouts, and integrations with payroll, timekeeping, and talent management systems.
- Serve as the HRIS subject matter expert, providing troubleshooting, user support, and training to HR team members and end-users across all Jack Link’s locations.
- Partner with HR, IT, Payroll, and Operations to streamline HR processes, enhance data flows, and improve system utilization for manufacturing, distribution, and corporate teams.
- Develop and maintain HRIS documentation, process workflows, and user training materials tailored to the unique needs of a CPG environment.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, labor laws, and company policies regarding HR data.
- Lead HRIS audits, data clean-up, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay current with HRIS technology trends and recommend enhancements to support Jack Link’s business objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a Team Member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The work environment is a plant/office setting with varying degrees of temperatures and noise levels. Exposure to manufacturing equipment movement and wet/slippery floors. However, the vast amount of work is conducted in a climate-controlled office. Travel may be required.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Responsible for coaching, developing, and performance‑managing HRIS team members while maintaining high standards for system accuracy, service delivery, and stakeholder support
- 7 + years experience serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for UKG, with full ownership of system strategy, configuration, optimization, and governance.
- Senior Manager–level HRIS leadership experience, including oversight of HR systems supporting complex, multi‑site organizations.
- 3 + years of success leading end‑to‑end UKG implementations, upgrades, and integrations, including payroll, time & attendance, and talent modules.
- Strong expertise in UKG reporting and analytics, including development of executive‑level dashboards, scorecards, and summary reporting to support strategic decision‑making.
- Ability to translate HR and business requirements into scalable system solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
- Experience managing and developing HRIS teams, including direct supervision, mentorship, and performance management.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to partner effectively with senior leaders, HR Business Partners, Payroll, IT, and key business stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of HR data governance, data integrity, compliance, and security best practices.
- Proven ability to lead HRIS audits, data clean‑up initiatives, and continuous process improvement efforts.
- Hands‑on, execution‑oriented leadership style with the ability to balance strategy and operational delivery.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting manufacturing, CPG, distribution, or multi‑site environments with hourly and salaried workforces.
- UKG superuser or HRIS architect within prior organizations.
- Background in building HRIS frameworks and long‑term systems roadmaps.
- Project management experience leading cross‑functional initiatives.
- HRIS or HR certifications (HRIP, SHRM‑SCP, PHR) preferred.
Additional Information
The salary range for this role is $145,000 – $160,000(Annually). Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Jack Link’s Total Rewards package for Team Members. Other rewards may include annual incentive and program-specific awards.
