Job Description

Role Summary

The Recruiter is part of the Talent Acquisition and Employee Experience team and will partner with leaders to support their hiring needs.  The recruiter is responsible for end-to-end recruiting cycle in acquiring talent to join Jack Link’s.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sources and identify potential candidates through various channels including online platforms, social media, networking events and industry connections.
  • Ensures positions are posted according to procedure, reviews resumes and applications, shares with hiring managers, coordinates advertising with the media and recruiting partners.
  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified applicants for open positions; collaborates with managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Negotiate and extend job offers to successful candidates.
  • Utilize applicant tracking system and other recruitment tools to streamline processes and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide regular feedback to hiring managers on status of recruiting activity and any challenges being faced.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to develop effective recruitment strategies, policies and procedures.
  • Serves as an ambassador of the organization and helps to build company brand as a sought-out employer.
  • Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Attend networking events to build talent pipeline.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions and best practices in recruitment by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field is preferred.
  • 7+ years of  recruiting experience preferably in food manufacturing industry and Consumer Package Goods

  • Proven experience developing sourcing and recruitment strategies
  • Experience in understanding market conditions
  • Strong executive presence in sharing company culture and brand.
  • Effective oral and written communication and presentation skills are essential, as are interpersonal skills.
  • Active listening skills with the ability to understand clearly and listen empathetically.
  • Strong understanding of the recruitment process and employment laws.
  • Sound judgement and decision-making skills.
  • Team player with ability to work across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring leaders.
  • The ability to work with frequent, established deadlines is required.
  • Organizational and analytical skills are required.
  • Able to manage and protect confidential information in a professional manner

Additional Information

The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $100,000 (Annually).  Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Jack Link’s Total Rewards package for Team Members. Other rewards may include annual incentive and program-specific awards. Jack Link’s provides a variety of benefits to eligible Team Members, including medical, dental and vision benefits, life and disability insurance, 401k participation, paid holidays, and paid time off.
