Job Description
The Pricing Specialist is responsible for maintaining pricing and EDI tables, resolving pricing errors, and supporting field sales, trade marketing, customers, and brokers. This role ensures pricing accuracy and provides systematic solutions for order and the Sales Pricing Tool (SPT) discrepancies.
The responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following:
- Maintain accurate pricing through promotional planning and list price updates.
- Validate and resolve sales order pricing discrepancies using the Sales Pricing Tool (SPT).
- Investigate and correct pricing issues to ensure customer pricing accuracy.
- Support the sales team with SPT pricing corrections.
- Test and communicate required changes to EDI maps.
- Serve as the primary contact for customers and brokers to ensure accurate EDI transmissions.
- Maintain and distribute the promotional worksheet to the field sales team.
- Process promotional worksheets and update the ERP system accordingly.
- Provide sales reporting as defined by sales management.
- Coordinate with the master data and order entry teams for product and pricing updates.
- Communicate daily order error handling to ensure timely order processing.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with trade marketing, sales, brokers, and customer service.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
Qualifications
Required Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
Required Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in business finance.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Understanding of pricing principles and financial analysis.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred:
- Associate degree in a business-related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience with SAP ERP systems
- Background in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry

Additional Information
The salary range for this role is $50,300 - $69,190 (Annually). Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Jack Link’s Total Rewards package for Team Members. Other rewards may include annual incentive and program-specific awards.
