DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operates bandsaw and other meat cutting equipment.
• Cuts and trims prime cuts and reducing to cooking cuts such as roasts, steaks, chops, and meat grinds.
• Grinds meat using proper equipment and safety procedures.
• Follows all safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Provides excellent customer service and knowledge about meat cuts.
• Stocks and displays merchandise.
• Maintains store appearance by organizing and cleaning as necessary.
• Operates cash register and handles cash.
• Assists in achieving store goals and objectives.
• Trains new retail associates
• Fills raw wholesale and retail orders
• Performs FSQ duties as required (FSP forms, paper documents)
• Assists with inventory management (ordering, tracking, etc.)
• 30-32 Hours a week 

• Must be hard working, accountable, detail oriented, and able to work on a team.
• Is punctual, dependable, and able to show up for work as scheduled (Monday-Saturday)
• Preferred Previous meat cutting experience but will train right candidate.
• Able to maintain good personal hygiene.
• Knowledgeable on basic mathematical skills.
• Preferred knowledge of meat processing equipment (saw, grinder, etc.)
• Preferred knowledge of meats and meat processing.
