Job Description
Position
Embark on an exciting IT internship in Amsterdam to sharpen your troubleshooting and communication skills. Join Jack Link's dynamic IT Team, learn from experienced professionals, and gain hands-on experience in root cause analysis and resolving hardware/software issues. You will support our EMEA operations, collaborate closely with the team, and make a real impact.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and resolve digital workplace issues for end users, both on-site and remotely
- Manage user accounts and permissions in the Active Directory to ensure smooth access and security
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows laptops, hardware, and software for optimal performance
- Upgrade end-user workstations to enhance efficiency, including memory installations
- Collaborate with the IT infrastructure team to assist in the configuration and maintenance of server infrastructure
- Provide timely support via calls and emails for efficient problem resolution while assisting the helpdesk in promptly resolving assigned tickets
- Participate in IT project management activities, contributing to project planning, execution, and developing and maintaining procedures and documentation
- Work with the IT security team to implement and enforce security measures for data protection
- Engage with third-party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Stay updated on the latest technology advancements and industry trends

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in information technology or a related field
Skills and competencies
- Basic technical troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Basic understanding of networking principles and protocols
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical information
- Creative problem-solving abilities to tackle complex issues
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Dedication to providing exceptional customer service with a patient and friendly approach
- Keen attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new skills and evolving technologies
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate and concise documentation of work and procedures
- Mandatory requirement of English language skills; proficiency in other European languages, especially German, is a plus.
