Position

We are looking for an experienced Portfolio & Innovation Manager to join the Peperami Marketing team and drive brand growth in the UK and Ireland. Objective

Grow the Peperami brand, the UK’s number 1 meat snack brand and top 100 FMCG brand, by developing consumer-centric innovation, as well as managing the current product portfolio, from strategic overview all the way to implementation in the market.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the end-to-end process of new product development from concept ideation to commercialization, ensuring timely and successful launches
• Lead project teams, including working closely with R&D, CMI, Finance and Operational teams to drive consumer-centric product innovation while considering feasibility and costs
• Work closely with Category Management and UK and Ireland Sales teams to develop winning NPD propositions which contribute to building strong annual marketing plans
• Foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement within the organization whilst ensuring alignment of innovation and portfolio strategies with overall business objectives
• Assess the existing product portfolio, identify areas for improvement to optimize, grow the portfolio and maximize profitability
• Monitor product performance, analyze sales data, and understand competitor and market best practices to make data-driven decisions for portfolio enhancements or discontinuations
• Support Shopper Marketing and Sales teams with necessary product information
• Own and manage the Innovation marketing budget

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in FMCG marketing, with a focus on NPD and Portfolio management
• Experience with project management and cross functional team working 
• Proven track record in launching NPD from ideation to execution in market, delivering sales growth through retail channels
• Market knowledge of the UK FMCG market
