Job Description

Join Jack Link's as an Associate Brand Manager (ABM) to work as part of the Marketing team to develop long-term strategy and build equity of the Jack Link’s brand. As an ABM, you will closely monitor and analyze sales volume and market trends to formulate recommendations for growth. Working under the direction of a Brand Manager, you will lead cross-functional team members in the execution of marketing plans to drive in year results and be accountable for delivering the brand’s revenue, profit and market share objectives. If you want to work for a snacking category leader, Jack Link’s is the right company for you!

Specifically, you will work across these areas: 

  • Brand Strategy – Participate in and lead aspects of the development of brand strategy to achieve long-term and short-term business goals, including strategic planning
  • Build the Brand – Contribute and lead elements of the development general management plans across the marketing mix which deliver volume, profit and share objectives.
  • Marketing Execution Lead teams of internal and external cross-functional partners in the execution of brand management strategies including product development, packaging, trade and pricing and business operations. Provides support to the sales organization with regard to marketing initiatives
  • Analytics and Tracking – Responsible for analyzing brand performance and competitive environment to identify problems, opportunities and trends, as well as leading reporting and analysis of key business metrics
  • Planning and Budgeting - Assists in the development of the marketing plan to achieve annual sales & profit objectives.
  • Ad Hoc Projects – Support the Marketing team.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Finance or Business Administration
  • MBA preferred, but not required
  • 1-3 years of Brand Management experience or 3-5 years relevant marketing experience
  • CPG industry experience preferred
  • Strong leadership qualities and team skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to conduct business analytics with proficiency in Nielsen/IRI syndicated data preferred
  • Flawless verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and all levels of management, as well as external business partners
  • Results-driven attitude
  • Personal initiative and willingness to deal with ambiguity in a rapidly evolving environment.
