Job Description

The Sr. Project Planner for Procurement role will support the procurement project management team's strategies including Item transitions and discontinuations, obsolescence Initiatives, project reporting and process improvement.

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following:

·         Develop Detail Cross Functional Implementation Plans for Projects relating to Item Transitions and Discontinuations

·         Provide Financial Risk assessments for Obsolescence

·         Maintain Departmental and Initiative reporting using Excel, SAP and Smartsheet

·         Recommend and Facilitate Departmental Report Automation and Enhancements

·         Ad Hoc Data Compilation

·         Performs other duties and responsibilities as necessary.

Qualifications

Required Education:

·         Bachelor’s Degree in business, supply chain or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

      Experience and Skills Requirements:

·         5-7 years of experience in a supply chain role (preferably for a manufacturer of consumer products) using SAP systems is preferred.

·         Excellent Excel skills including report creation from large datasets and multiple data sources

·         Project Management experience preferred

·         SAP Material Planning experience preferred

·         Smartsheet report experience preferred

·         Strong analytical and problem solving skills

·         Demonstrated ability to drive change / process improvement

·         Self-starter with excellent communication skills

·         Independent thinking

·         Ability to be flexible as required and communicate cross functionally with internal partners

·         Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time

·         Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations

·         Ability to work in a fast paced energetic environment
