Job Description

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for taking deliveries of product out of trailers, placing product onto trailers, checking for damaged or missing items, storing products, moving stock around according to use date, and keeping records of warehouse stock. 

Qualifications

Job Related Skills/Responsibilities

  • Operate a forklift.
  • Do warehouse inventory.
  • Bills of Lading.
  • Load trailers properly.
  • Operate cardboard bailer.
  • Operate stretch wrap machine.
  • Schedule trailers for loads.
  • Follow lean manufacturing practices.
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Administrative Skills

  • Able to organize and prioritize in a multi-tasking environment.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in the English language (speak, read, and write).
  • Able to operate machines computers.
  • Able to follow instructions.
  • Able to perform general maintenance.
  • Able to operate a computer.

Additional Information

OPEN SHIFTS:

  • 4th Shift (Night/Weekend)

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The work environment is a plant / office setting with varying degrees of temperatures and noise levels. Exposure to manufacturing equipment movement and wet / slippery floors. Travel may be required.
