Come Run with Sasquatch as a Staff Accountant to provide accounting and analytical support to the Director of Sales Finance, Sales Accounting Manager and the sales team.  This position will be heavily involved in reviewing all of our internal Sales Planning Tool (SPT)  activity to improve general ledger accuracy and back-end processing efficiency.

Specifically, you will:

• Perform a proactive accounting review of SPT promotions to improve general ledger accuracy and back-end processing efficiency.
• Manage SPT Accounting Audit reports and collaborate with sales to keep SPT accurate and promotions settled timely.
• Periodic report distribution of promotions for sales to review to Finish.  Perform the Finishing review process in SPT.
• Ad hoc reporting to identify and resolve SPT data entry issues.  Collaborate with sales, accounts receivable and sales accounting.
• Period end re-occurring duties to include accrual entries, general ledger adjustments, analysis and account reconciliations.
• File preparation for internal reclass of sales process.  Perform SAP uploads for order/billing document creation.
• Establish strong working relationships with sales and accounting teams.
• Maintain accurate, thorough and high quality sales analytics data.
• Develop technical skills and knowledge to become proficient in report creation.
• Assist in special projects as determined by department management.

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following education, experiences and skills:  

• BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in an accounting capacity.
• Experience working with a Sales Planning/Promotions Tool is a plus
• Experience working with SAP or any ERP system is a plus
• Demonstrate a strong attention to detail.
• Detailed oriented and organized.
• Must be able to self-manage and operate with minimal supervision and handle assignments that are complex and urgent in nature.
• Fully conversant in Microsoft Office applications, specifically MS Excel
• Good interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Must thrive in a team-oriented environment.
• Possess strong communications skills.
