Job Description

Come Run with Sasquatch as an Operations Intern during the summer of 2020 in Minneapolis, MN! Join our team as an Application Development Intern during the summer and Feed Your Wild Side®! You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through formal and informal training, developing reports, dashboards, visualizations, attending events, networking with fellow interns, working with key Jack Link’s leaders and team members. At the completion of your internship, you will conduct a final presentation on your internship experience.

As an Application Development Intern within Jack Link’s, you will work closely with the technology and business teams, gaining formal and information training, with rotations in the following areas:

Application Development Intern Technical responsibilities:

  • Review and Refine business requirements
  • Collaborate on deliverable deign and capabilities
  • Design, code, test and implement application deliverable
  • Exposure to SAP development tools SAP ABAP & SAP Fiori/Eclipse
  • Application Development Intern Business responsibilities:
  • Attend meetings between business, IT teams
  • Identify and define design questions and associated technical implications
  • Partner with business team to create functional deliverable
  • Review deliverables with IR & business partners for review and feedback
  •  Final presentation to leadership team to recap experience

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following education, experience and skills: 

  • Academic focus in Application Development, preferably SQL coding and concepts, Java-UI5-JSON, HTML, Python, Swift, BOTs
  • Exposure and understanding of Supply Chain, Marketing, or Finance business functions
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints
  • Team player with a “can do” attitude
  • Ability to adapt in a changing work environment
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Quick learner
  • Ability to work with an iterative and incremental development environment
