Job Description

Come Run with Sasquatch as a Associate National Account Manager for our Alternate Channel accounts! In this role, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of retail and institutional customers – those that do not obviously fit a specific class of trade such as convenience, grocery, mass, drug -  it is the all other customer category.  You will identify and develop new retail/other opportunities, achieve sales volume and financial objectives, develop & maintain strong effective customer relationships; align with Jack Link’s corporate goals and execute the brand initiatives. Emphasis will include planning, forecasting, trade fund management while leveraging category management practices to meet the key objectives. This is a developmental position designed to provide experience in building new business, maintaining and growing existing accounts and gaining the additional experience necessary to grow into a NAM role.

Specifically in this role, you will: 

  • Pinpoint and develop new customer opportunities
  • Achieve top & bottom line sales & profit goals with a significant focus on generating profitable growth
  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans for top customers
  • Manage Trade budgets and Promotion compliance for the territory sales office
  • Manage customer deductions & accounts receivable issues on all applicable accounts
  • Coordinate and communicate the development of all sales presentations
  • Coordinate all forecasting and planning with the operations, demand planning and customer service team
  • Formulate specific action plans to mitigate risk and maximize opportunities
  • Work closely with National Sales Manager and with our broker partners to reach this multifaceted class of trade.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years prior business experience
  • Strong analytical skills (specifically able to identify trends, opportunities, and business insight)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills needed for working in a team environment
  • Strong Excel and Power-point skills
  • Exposure to decision support data/tools (IRI, Nielsen, Spectra, HH Panel)
  • Located close to a major airport.
  • Goal oriented & well organized
  • Undergraduate Degree
