Job Description

Come Run with Sasquatch as a Data Analyst to collect and analyze data and information flows to assess the efficiency and costs of logistics processes. In this role, you will research operational costs and maintain a current and comprehensive database on which to draw for solutions development. Additionally you will establish data mining architectures/models/protocols, statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies to identify Supply Chain operations improvements and simulate the impact of proposed initiatives.

Specifically, you will: 

  • Model and analyze various supply chain scenarios (including ad-hoc requests), prepare cost/benefit analysis of proposed changes
  • Provide analytical support for projects, new business opportunities, and proposals
  • Analyze performance, investigate problems, find root causes, and develop solutions
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external supply chain stakeholders and business partners
  • Demonstrate a high degree of accuracy with data retrieval, manipulation and calculation
  • Develop dashboards and scorecards that drive enterprise results
  • Assists with gathering and interpreting data with various levels of problem solving
  • Ability to identify problems and opportunities, recommending solutions
  • Create reporting and metrics that effectively communicate the state of the business to the customer
  • Present analytics that drive understanding, alignment, and informed decision making
  • Ability to work across functions and with various levels within the organization
  • Document business process and recommend process improvements
  • Supports work in an ambiguous and dynamic business environment

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE and ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field and/or up to 3 years related business experience required
  • Effective communication skills, written and verbal
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Advanced SQL experience Preferred
  • Detail oriented
  • Intellectual curiosity
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Possesses the capacity to apply critical thinking
  • Proficient PC skills (Microsoft Office) including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Must exhibit solid understanding of relational databases (Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server).

The work environment is a plant / office setting with varying degrees of temperatures and noise levels. Exposure to manufacturing equipment movement and wet / slippery floors. Travel may be required.
