Job Description

Join our team as a Sales Intern during the summer and Feed Your Wild Side in Minneapolis, MN! You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through formal and informal training, managing projects, attending events, networking with fellow interns, working with key Jack Link’s leaders and team members. At the completion of your internship, you will conduct a final presentation on your experience.

As a Sales Intern within Jack Link’s, you will work closely with Account Managers, Category Management/Business Insights, Marketing, Finance, and Sales Planning team members to gain formal and informal training.

Sales responsibilities:

  • Retail visits across various channels
  • Shadow account managers in various channels of trade, attending customer meetings
  • Shadow cross-functional team members in Sales Planning, Marketing, Category Management and Sales Finance.
  • Prepare and Deliver special project assessment to gain sales alignment
  • Participate in aligned sales meetings, internal cross-functional meetings and Customer presentation(s)
  • Coordinate projects with cross-functional team
  • Development and Presentation of special project to Sales Leadership
  • Prepare and deliver Final presentation to leadership team to recap experience

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Academic focus in Business Administration, Marketing, or Finance
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints
  • Team player with a “can do” attitude
  • Ability to adapt in a changing work environment
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Quick learner
