Job Description

Come Run with Sasquatch as our Finance Manager for Supply Chain and Operations to lead the corporate cost accounting team and provide financial support to the supply chain and operations organizations. 

  • Oversee, coordinate and approve the development of new product standards
  • Assist in the construction of the annual COGS budget, including raw material/packaging pricing assumptions, plant expenses, and standard cost development.
  • Lead the annual cost roll process for all Link Snacks facilities.
  • Review ways to better improve the costing processes at each of the Link Snacks facilities
  • Involvement in P&L’s and understanding the total company impact
  • Analyze the standard to actual variances by SKU and make recommendations for possible cost savings and margin growth
  • Oversee, coordinate and approve cost estimations for either brand new items or new configurations as requested
  • Approve period end inventory reconciliations
  • Periodic reviews of inventory adjustments and cycle counting as put together by staff
  • Coordinate and participate in yearly audit of inventory by outside auditors and reconciliation at year end for inventory
  • Coordinate the obsolescence accrual and disposal requests with plant and DC staff as necessary to maintain accurate inventories.
  • Responsible for overseeing all inventory reconciliations for all Link Snacks facilities

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

  • Four year degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Five + years’ cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry
  • Advanced level software skills with an emphasis on the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organization, problem-solving and financial analysis skills
  • Previous experience in managing a staff and working with several off-site individuals
  • Ability to work in a highly demanding environment independently with multiple projects and deadlines and minimal supervision

Preferred qualifications: 

  • Masters degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • SAP software experience
