Job Description

Come Run with Sasquatch as a National Account Manager for our Vending Channel grow and develop total Jack Link's sales within vending industry accounts. In this role, you will achieve sales volume and financial objectives, develop & maintain strong effective customer relationships, build effective trade programs, align with Jack Link’s corporate goals and execute the brand initiatives. This role strongly emphasis planning, forecasting, trade fund management while leveraging category management practices to meet the key objectives.  

Specifically, you will: 

  • Execute the strategy of the Vending Channel to deliver top & bottom line sales & profit goals with a significant focus on improving profitability
  • Work closely with the National Sales Manager on developing and executing promotional activity with key customers as well as the broker team.
  • Manage trade spending to drive profitable business, including use of trade promotion management system
  • Collaborate with internal functions to develop customer specific programs/items/POS to build the business
  • Accountable for the development and accuracy of sales forecast by market and product to drive production planning
  • Provide business updates to Senior Sales Management on sales results/opportunities
  • Understand and report back on competitive landscape and activity
  • Build effective relationships throughout with key Vending/Micro Market operators within the Eastern US.
  • Manage deduction & AR issues on all applicable accounts
  • Work closely with National Sales Manager on managing broker sales reps across the Eastern US. Ensure broker reps are executing key Jack Link’s initiatives.
  • Manage new product launches and promotions with the HQ Broker team.
  • Support NSM with large initiatives at Foodbuy, USG, Etc.

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field

 Required Experience:      

  • 3+ years of CPG experience in VENDING/MICRO MARKETS
  • Strong analytical capabilities to identify trends, opportunities and business insight
  • Strong business acumen; specifically with P&L management, Trade Management and Demand Planning
  • Trade Promotion Management System experience
  • Strong skill level in Microsoft applications
  • Ability to travel at least 50%

Candidate should be located near a major airport in the Eastern/Southeastern part of the country
