Job Description

The Sales Coordinator position is an entry-level role within Jack Link’s, supporting the sales team. This position will primarily manage C-store billings, rebates, promotional worksheets, sales reports, order samples/racks and other sales administrative tasks. This position will report to the VP Sales Small Format and support the Convenience Store sales team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Processing product returns and reclamation requests
  • Process First Monthly Reclass files (Mpulse for McLane, MSA for Eby and Coremark)
  • Process Quarterly Distributor Rebate files (Mpulse)
  • Run Monthly McLane commission file (Mpulse and MSA) in order to process commission to brokers based on downstream customers
  • Order racks, POS and samples as needed for C-Store customers and trade shows
  • Manage internal Promotional Worksheets – Direct & Indirect / Promotional bill backs, samples, racks, A/R, etc to document trade investments and selling expenses with assigned sales team members.
  • New Item Set up for retailers and distributors
  • Run and distribute various internal reports
  • Enter Sales Promotion notes for the C-Store team to assist in clearing A/R
  • Administrative functions supporting the VP Sales Small Format, VP of C-Store, Director of National Accounts and Director of Retail, including managing travel, calendars, expense reporting and personnel information.
  • Work with Confidential personnel and financial information

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

  • Associate’s Degree or applicable work experience

  • Strong Microsoft proficiency, especially with Excel, PowerPoint, and One Note

  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints

  • Ability to adapt in a changing work environment

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills

  • Strong math and information systems skills
