Job Description

The primary purpose of this position is to provide business insights, analytics, and reporting to internal and external sales teams and partners.  This is a key role in the delivery of Consumer, Shopper, and Category insights to support field sales for implementation of customer plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Field Sales to utilize syndicated and customer specific sales data

  • Manage and maintain monthly report analysis for sales managers and channel managers to grow the business

  • Provide monthly customer dashboard reporting using syndicated or retailer specific data sources.

  • Provide analysis to support strategic corporate decision making.  Maximize all components of Nielsen including Panel data and Spectra.

  • Provide field sales with market specific selling stories to drive category growth

  • Support Trade Marketing with syndicated and customer specific data insights

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business

  • Demonstrated experience in an analytical role

  • Proven knowledge of analytical and presentation development techniques; ability to turn data into a story

  • Advanced Excel skills; strong computer skills, including MS Office

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of syndicated data systems.  Preferably Nielsen and/or IRI

  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints

  • Team player with a “can do” attitude

  • Ability to adapt in a changing work environment

  • Interest in sales planning, field sales, or category management

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills

  • Quick learner

  • Willingness to travel when required
