Job Description

A natural go-getter, Jack Links Campus Brand Ambassadors (CBA), located on the University of Wisconsin - Madison Campus, will be the premier collegiate, boots-on-the-ground marketing team in the industry. Our CBA's have a love of our Protein Snacks portfolio and are passionate about sharing the brand with their peers in unique and engaging ways. They will be primarily responsible for driving the brand image on campus, fostering relationships with key groups and opinion leaders, and overall building a belief in our products benefits with the ultimate goal of ensuring long term loyalty through the capitalization of the collegiate experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following:

• Become a product and brand expert. Always professional and courteous to consumers/ campus contacts/ authorities.

• Identify key groups, activities, and big moments in which the brand needs to be involved with, and ideate ways to bring the brand to life for the collegiate consumer. Work with manager to develop a game plan on how to best go about supporting the initiative.

• Create, host, and support either your own or third party events as necessary with the intention of connecting students with the brand in an engaging and eventful way.

• Constant flow of new ideas regarding campus activation. Consistently looking for the “Next Big Thing.”

• Drive trial and belief in product benefits through daily product seeding.

• Identify new sales opportunities around campus and surrounding community.

• Work with Events Team to ensure visibility on/ around campus.

• Have an ear to the ground and understands the campus voice.

• Take pictures and videos to highlight activations. Preferably utilizing on campus contacts for high quality content.

• Responsible for submitting weekly reports highlighting activity for that week.

• Performs other duties and responsibilities as necessary.

Qualifications

Required Education: Currently attending college at UW Madison.

Required Experience: Sophomore year or higher.

Preferred: Pursuing a Marketing, Advertising, or related business degree. Prior experience in event planning, management, and/ or campus organization involvement highly regarded.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE and ABILITIES:

• Proven track record of accomplishments.

• Ability to ideate and follow through on execution of brand activations.

• Highly engaging, charismatic, and outgoing personality.

• Social chameleon- works well with a variety of campus groups and events, even if the groups/activities may not be the CBM’s personal passion.

• Functional knowledge of social networking and leveraging connections.

• Is well connected on campus to various groups and opinion leaders.

• Must be in good standing with the school.

• Creative mind in nature, always thinking about ”The Next Big Thing” and has prior success in driving the creative process.

• A dependable self-starter.

• Highly entrepreneurial.

• Lives the FEED YOUR WILD SIDE mantra.

This position will be approximately 10 hours per week from September to May
