Job Description

Summary:

The primary purpose of this position is to provide business insights, analytics, and reporting to internal and external sales teams and partners.  This is a key role in providing Consumer, Shopper, and Category insight support to field sales for implementation of customer plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide monthly customer dashboard reporting using syndicated or retailer specific data sources
  • Provide analysis to support strategic corporate decision making.  Maximize all components of Nielsen including Panel data and Spectra.
  • Support the Sr. Category Manager with the management of category space: Develop/recommend brand assortment and shelf schematic/planograms for relay, new remodels and special projects
  • Support Trade Marketing with syndicated and customer specific data insights

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business
  • Demonstrated experience in an analytical role
  • Proven knowledge of analytical and presentation development techniques; ability to turn data into a story
  • Advanced Excel skills; strong computer skills, including MS Office

 

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of syndicated data systems.  Preferably Nielsen and/or IRI
  • JDA experience preferred
  • Atlas experience preferred
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints
  • Team player with a “can do” attitude
  • Ability to adapt in a changing work environment
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Quick learner
  • Willingness to travel when required
