Job Description

Come Run with Sasquatch as our National Account Manager to grow and develop total Jack Link’s sales for our southeast grocery channel primarily through strategic alignment and promotional planning.   

Specifically, in this role you will: 

  • Manage all customer-level P&Ls and interface with cross-functional corporate and associate team-members on developing customer-specific programs. 
  • Plan forecast and build customer-specific programs and penetrate multiple levels of customer organizations. 
  • Effectively manage trade, category management practices and resources
  • Develop detailed sales plans for all direct/indirect accounts, specifically Publix and other southeastern USA grocers.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess experience in the following education, skills and experiences: 

  • 3-5 years of direct-selling experience dealing with (experience selling directly to Publix strongly preferred) and other southeastern grocers preferably in grocery/salty snacks or equivalent
  • Category management expertise, fact-based planning, and selling working with A.C. Nielsen Data
  • Strong written and oral skills
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills in the development of both short & long-term category strategies
  • Goal oriented & well organized
  • Excellent interpersonal skills needed for working in a team environment
  • Strong analytical skills (specifically able to identify trends, opportunities, and business insight)
  • Ability to interface and build relationships with multiple levels of an organization
  • Proactive (high sense of urgency) and committed to delivering results in a fast-paced, demanding work environment
  • Excellent understanding of retail store merchandising management
  • Must be able to produce/ present information formatted in a compelling and persuasive manner
  •  Must be able to execute new item innovation acceptance at retail
  • Competent at manipulating, interpreting & presenting category trend/sales data (Interface with channel Cat. Mgr) to both internal & external parties
  • Experience developing strategic sales, marketing, and financial plans
  •  Accustomed to being evaluated on achieving both top & bottom line sales & profit goals
  • Involved in managing all deduction & AR issues on all applicable accounts
  • Familiar with issuing direction/updates to a national retail sales team
  • Broker management experience & retail service provider execution
  • Strong computer technical skills in MS Excel & PowerPoint and experience using CRM based software for customer account planning

Preferred:

  • Reside in the following areas: Tampa, Lakeland, Orlando or Jacksonville FL.
  • Experience working with Publix & southeastern grocers.
  • University/College BS/BA in Business/Marketing or MBA
