Job Description

Come Run with Sasquatch as a Business Insights Analyst - Category to provide business insights, analytics, and reporting to internal category team and retail partners. This is a key role in providing Consumer, Shopper, and Category insight analysis to drive sales and overall category growth.

Specifically, you:

  • Manage and maintain category databases, reports and ad hoc reports through Walmart Retail link and Atlas

  • Provide weekly/monthly reporting using syndicated or retailer specific data sources

  • Support the Category Manager with space management support including: modular execution, store cluster and trait maintenance and image and capture storage

  • Provide analysis to support strategic corporate decision making. Maximize all components of Nielsen including Panel data and Spectra

  • Support Trade Marketing with syndicated and customer specific data insights

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following education, skills and experiences:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business, required
  • Demonstrated experience in an analytical role

  • Proven knowledge of analytical and presentation development techniques; ability to turn data into a story

  • Advanced Excel skills; strong computer skills, including MS Office

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of syndicated data systems, especially Nielsen and/or IRI.

  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints

  • Demonstrate a “can do” attitude and enjoy being an engaged team member

  • Ability to adapt in a changing work environment

  • Interest in sales planning, field sales, or category management

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills

  • Willingness to travel when required
