Job Description

Come Run with Sasquatch as our Senior IT Project Manager! In this role, you will be responsible for leading teams in the delivery of complex projects and/or project portfolios relating to  IT Infrastructure and/or business applications. This role will help to influence and guide IT roadmaps to achieve IT and business initiatives.

The duties and responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following: 

  • Strong leadership, organizational and relationship building skills

  • Influence what projects and initiatives the IT organization will engage in to meet organizational priorities.

  • Proactively manage risk and influence others

  • Identify potential risks and points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns

  • Lead cross functional teams to successfully deliver significant business technology change in an enterprise environment

  • Translate highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences

  • Interact with and report regularly to executive project sponsors and senior technology leadership

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Provide leadership in steering projects toward defined standard infrastructure solutions, platforms and best practices

  • Develop and maintain project and resource cost estimates for multiple projects.

  • Define and manage project schedules, resources, and delivery commitments

  • Complete assigned projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines across project portfolios.

  • Manage and escalate project risks and issues across multiple projects.

  • Delegate, integrate activities, and resolve conflicts across project portfolios.

  • Uphold Jack Link’s IT Project Delivery process and PMO standards and influence changes and improvements to the ITPD methodology.

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent experience.

Required Experience:

  • 6+ years of relevant IT Project Management experience
  • 6+  years of working hands-on experience with all aspects of the system development life cycle
  • 6+  years of facilitating data gathering/analysis and writing system requirements
  • Experience in facilitating complex test plans for multiple projects.            

Preferred:

  • Strong infrastructure background or System Analyst background - technical concepts and details.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills and ability to present to senior & executive leaders.
  • Adaptable self-starter who is skilled at creating structure in ambiguous environments.
  • Strong logical and analytical problem-solving skills; rigorous approach to project management to deliver enterprise-level projects.        
  • SAP implementation and/or upgrade project management experience

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE and ABILITIES:

Proven thorough understanding of the following:

  • Proficiency with MS O365 (Including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Proficiency with MS Project
  • Proficiency with MS Visio
  • Consumer Packaged Goods and/or manufacturing Industry experience is helpful.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must work effectively with all levels of management and employees
  • Must demonstrate effective leadership, problem solving, presentation, and employee motivational skills
  • Proficient in Internet navigation, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must work effectively with all levels of management and employees.
