The Cafeteria Team Member is responsible for arranging for and beverages to be served to team members. Clean utensils, cooking and storage equipment. Clean and sanitize serving areas after every meal. Follow food preparation instructions and serve all food and beverages according to cafeteria safety and sanitary policies. This position will be carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.   

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES: 

• Ability to learn and explain products and items, other operational areas, and the surrounding area 

• Strong math and cash handling skills 

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 

• Excellent customer service skills; A friendly and professional demeanor 

• Ability to provide high quality food items in a timely manner 

• Ability to work in a high-volume and fast-paced work environment 

• Knowledge of proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES:  

• Stand/remain upright on feet for entire shift, up to 10 hours at a time. 

• Walk/move on feet quickly, constantly throughout entire shift. 

• Kneel, squat, stoop and bend frequently. 

• Turn and twist repetitively. 

• Reach down, forward and overhead frequently. 

• Lift up to 25 pounds overhead. 

• Lift up to 40 pounds on a daily basis. 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES: 

• Cash handling experience preferred 

• 1-year customer service experience preferred 

• Restaurant/café and POS software experience a plus 

• May need to enter production environment where team members are exposed to moderate cold (35-55 degree) and loud noise levels.
