JYSK is seeking Marketing Translator to join our Marketing team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role is based out of our Head Office in Coquitlam, BC Canada. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, Marketing Translator will be responsible for the translation of marketing materials and publication. You will also be expected to assist the marketing team with other miscellaneous Production-related duties.

The Role

• Translate marketing materials and publication directly within production software.
• Assist production team in various duties such as but not limited to content gathering, basic layout, corrections, outputting, and more.
• Managing translation priorities and working within set deadlines.
• Proofread translation of fellow translators and assist if needed.

What you bring to the role

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Marketing or French/English Translation field.
• Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Marketing or Communications or French/English Translation.
• Impeccable bilingual French and English communication skills.
• Proficiency using Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator applications.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work with a team and complete tasks within strict deadlines.
• Comfortable owning and self-managing tasks.
• Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly developed organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
