Job Description
WHAT YOUR NEW JOB WILL BE ABOUT
We are looking for a Operations Manager to lead and drive the overall operation at our Distribution Center in Uldum. As Operations Manager, you are responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of inbound and outbound processes, through your dedicated Department Managers. You coach managers and teams to enable them to contribute independently and proactively to achieving the best results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Zero accident culture: You lead by example, prioritize safety above all, and actively engage employees in safe first behaviors
- Leadership and team development: You build strong, capable teams by attracting, training, and motivating the right people. You inspire them to take ownership and show initiative.
- Operational excellence: You continuously optimize processes and workflows, increase productivity, and ensure consistent service quality.
- Results-driven management: You define operational goals, budgets and KPIs and monitor progress to ensure the DC operates efficiently and effectively.
- Process innovation: You are constantly looking for new solutions and improvements that simplify work and deliver better results.
- Inbound & outbound management: You oversee the entire logistics operation, including inventory management, order processing, and transportation, with a focus on maximum efficiency and accuracy.
- International work: On average, you work abroad 15 days per year to improve processes and share best practices
Qualifications

Qualifications:
- Proven experience from operations management within logistics, supply chain, warehousing, production, or a similar operational environment
- Knowledge of Danish health and safety legislation, with hands-on experience ensuring compliance and promoting a safety first culture and efficient workplace
- Solid understanding of budgeting and P/L
- Experience leading and developing teams in a performance-driven operational setting
- Ability to balance Safety first, operational efficiency, productivity, and employee well-being
Personal competencies
- Management skills and stakeholder management
- Ability to work across functions and levels
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to motivate and involve employees and leaders
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Change management skills/Experience with large scale transformation
- Experience with change management or transformation initiatives is an advantage
