Job Description
WHAT YOUR NEW JOB WILL BE ABOUT
As an IT Project Manager in Logistics Development & Projects, you play an important role in meeting JYSK’s strategic target and ensuring that the project team works well together and delivers high quality work on time.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Execute international logistics IT projects with many stakeholders and dependencies.
- Navigate in a business that have a roadmap with many parallel projects ongoing and where keeping deadlines are key for the success.
- Drive implementation of Warehouse Management Systems in new Distribution Centre projects according to JYSK execution model and JYSK Logistics Best Practice.
- Drive other optimisation projects; like extension of existing DCs, process optimisation e.g. within automation, or similar projects.
- Define objectives, framework, roles, project plans and ensure progress in tasks & projects (be on top of potential risks).
- Ensure corporation across JYSK organisation by communication with Project Management Teams and other stakeholders.
- Close coordination of activities with our internal Agile IT organisation and ensure that relevant features and task are prioritised and refined according to the project schedule.
- Close Coordination of activities with our external suppliers, by ensuring functional specifications definition, follow up deliveries on projects and schedules.
You will be part of our international Logistics Development & Projects team. Consequently, you will contribute to the ongoing IT-flow development of the Logistics function. Your base will be in our Distribution Centre in Uldum or one of our other Distribution Centres in Europe – expect 30-50 travel days per year.

Besides successful and relevant experience from working with IT projects within logistics, we are looking for ambitions and exceptional execution skills. If you bring dedication, you will meet possibilities.
In addition, you will be described by the below mentioned characteristics:
- You are an experienced IT-project manager with strong logistics competences and experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
- You are an IT Project Manager with a strong ability to bridge business needs and technical solutions.
- You have a relevant Bachelor/Master degree.
- Excellent collaboration skills, the ability to communicate at multiple levels and build good relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
- A continuous improvement mindset continually challenging the state of things, to constantly improve systems, procedures and processes.
- An ability to make independent decisions in a busy working day and act decisively on complex situations.
- An ability to adapt quickly to new situations, and you enjoy a varied working day.
- Good English skills.
