If so, then you might be our next Software Engineer at JYSK, where you'll create intuitive and outstanding solutions for multiple areas in our organisation.
JYSK is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team of highly skilled developers within Search. As a Software Engineer you will be improving and maintaining our existing search setup and helping create new search solutions. You will be working closely together with developers and multiple teams and departments in our agile team setup to help deliver value in a fast and incremental way.

WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT
Your tasks and responsibilities in the job includes:
- Take responsibility together with other Search Engineers of our current search infrastructure, analyzing its performance and identifying areas for improvement
- Collaborate with a team of experienced developers to integrate and enhance search capabilities within our applications
- Help design and develop scalable search solutions tailored to our specific business requirements
- Optimize search performance through query optimization, index management, and relevancy ranking
- Develop tools in Node.JS to help editors improve search
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in search technologies and propose innovative ideas to enhance search functionality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand search requirements and implement efficient search strategies
WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING
- At least 3 years of professional work experience with software development
- Experience with TypeScript, Javascript, Node.js, Relational or Non-Relational Database and technologies like Elasticsearch, Solr or OpenSearch
- Experience in optimizing and improving search, query understanding, indexing, relevance ranking, and perhaps semantic search
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- A proactive approach to improving solutions and challenging the status quo
- Is eager to stay up to date with latest technologies and motivated to continuously learn new things
