Would you like to kick-start your career at JYSK Head Office in Aarhus and work close to where strategic decisions are shaped? As a Business Development Graduate, you will join our two-year Graduate Programme and become part of an international retail organisation with a clear direction and strong values.

From day one, you will contribute to strategic, cross-functional projects that support JYSK’s development across countries and functions. You will work closely with experienced colleagues, gain insight into executive-level decision-making, and gradually take on more responsibility. The role is designed to give you a solid foundation for a future career as a Project Manager or specialist within JYSK.

WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT
In Business Development, we lead and execute strategic, cross-functional projects that support JYSK’s long-term direction. You will work with data, analyses and stakeholder input to translate business needs into clear recommendations and actionable plans.

You will start in a supporting role and develop towards taking full ownership of projects. The projects vary in scope and stakeholders, giving you broad exposure to the organisation and a strong understanding og how JYSK operates as a global retailer.

Your tasks and responsibilities in the job include:

  • Contributing to key strategic initiatives within Business Development
  • Defining project scope, driving fact-based analysis, developing and coordinating actionable plans and following up on progress 
  • Preparing material and facilitating decision forums and meetings
  • Collaborating with management and specialist across functions and countries
  • Participating in the ongoing development of the Business Development department and our project management toolbox
  • Taking on increasing responsibility to build critical skills for a future leadership role

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING
We are looking for a new colleague who: 

  • Has a Master’s degree within business or a similar field
  • Has preferably 1–2 years of experience from a relevant student job or entry-level role
  • Has experience working with data analysis, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Can translate data into actionable insights and communicate them clearly
  • Is comfortable facilitating meetings and presenting to stakeholders
  • Thrives in a role with many stakeholders and changing priorities
  • Is collaborative, sociable, and motivated by driving tasks forward
