We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our Advanced Analytics and AI team, a group of six passionate colleagues dedicated to data, analytics, and AI.

WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT

Your tasks and responsibilities in the job include:

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and architectures for AI and analytics projects.
  • Create and maintain automated data ingestion, transformation, and validation.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data systems.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand. data requirements and deliver solutions that meet those needs.
  • Implement data management best practices, including data governance and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of data systems to ensure efficiency and scalability.
  • Support the integration of new data sources and ensure seamless data flow across systems.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering and cloud computing.

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING

  • A bachelor's or master’s degree in software engineering, Data Engineering, Robotics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • +3 years of experience in data engineering, including designing and maintaining data pipelines and architectures.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data processing frameworks.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for complex data challenges.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Practical experience with ETL tools and data integration technologies.

Experience in data management and governance is an advantage. Knowledge of AI/ML, containerization, and scripting is desirable. Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps experience is a plus.
