Are you seeking a role that combines strategy and execution? 

As Portfolio consultant you will be a part of the Portfolio Management team in JYSK Business Development, where you will facilitate prioritisation and breakdown of strategic high-profile initiatives that require IT development. Your role is to develop recommendations for JYSK Executive Management Team and challenge when evaluating and prioritising digital investments.  

Following our agile transformation, we are looking for a Portfolio Consultant who can ensure continuous optimisation of our portfolio process and support stakeholders across JYSK to reduce time to market for our IT portfolio.

WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT 

Portfolio Management supports the entire JYSK value chain, from purchasing products to delivery at our customers' homes, with IT playing a crucial role in this end-to-end journey. In this position, you will: 

  • Independently coach the business on high-profile strategic IT initiatives to secure the progress and transparency that will enable us to reach our strategic goals 
  • Establish strong relations and become a trusted advisor who can manage critical dependencies, qualify business ideas, and ensure that priorities across the organisation align with our strategic direction 
  • Utilise your interpersonal and analytical problem-solving skills to contribute to the future development of the Portfolio Management Process to reduce time to market for IT solutions
  • Maintain the portfolio roadmap, follow up on performance data and committed plans from the IT organisation.   

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING 

What you should bring is a pragmatic and curious self-starter approach with a drive to make a difference. Furthermore, we are looking for a new colleague who: 

  • Has solid stakeholder- and change management skills, is trustworthy and can establish good relations and coach stakeholders on all organisational levels 
  • Can quickly understand new business and complex areas and participate in discussions with fact-based arguments to become a valuable sparring partner who can solve problems and challenge status quo 
  • Ideally has experience with Portfolio Management, Project Management or Management Consulting. Experience within Retail is as an advantage 
  • Are driven by results, has an analytical and structured approach and thrive in an environment where adaptability is essential for success 
  • Holds a master’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field 
  • Are an experienced user of PowerPoint, Excel, and are fluent in English. Proficiency in Danish is considered a plus
