Are you ready to be part of developing and implementing JYSK strategy towards 2028? And do you want to lead and grow your own team? This is a unique opportunity to join JYSK Business Development, where you will play a central role in setting the strategic direction for one of the largest family-owned furniture retailers in Europe.

WHAT JYSK OFFERS YOU

In this position, you will:

  • Step into a leadership role and become a central part of our Business Development team, consisting of high-performing and ambitious Project Managers who take pride in our work and strive to exceed expectations in everything we do, whilst having fun.
  • Co-lead the strategy development in close collaboration with JYSK Management Team (starting up Q3 2024) and ensure that we deliver on our strategic priorities.
  • Drive cross-functional projects to realise our strategic ambitions in close collaboration with the JYSK Executive Management Team, that will require your leadership and strong toolbox within structured problem-solving and project management – both as Lead and through own team.

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING

To succeed in this role, you have a 3-5 years’ experience from a top-tier management consulting firm or similar experience from the industry - experience from a large retail company is an advantage.

We expect that:

  • You have proven experience in leading and developing consultants or analysts by coaching and giving feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • You are a problem-solver with an analytical mindset and experience with creating fact-based analyses and recommendations for decision-making.
  • You have a solid project management toolbox and can handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously – both for yourself and your team.
  • You have a strategic mindset and have previously been part of corporate strategy projects and have a good understanding of the Retail industry.
  • You are a skilled communicator who can set clear direction for your project teams, and you can easily navigate all levels of an organisation.
  • You are known for being trustworthy and able to establish strong relations and become a trusted advisor.
  • You have a high drive and ability to quickly understand new business areas and become a valuable sparring partner who can challenge status quo.
  • You have an excellent command of PowerPoint, Excel, and are fluent in English.
