As a Senior Project Manager in Business Development, you will play a central role in setting the strategic direction and driving projects to ensure the long-term competitive advantage in JYSK. Projects are determined by our strategy, spanning across functional areas and organisational levels and our main stakeholders are typically a member of the JYSK Executive Management Team.

In this position, you get the chance to demonstrate your ability to:

  • Apply your analytical skills through structured problem-solving and data analyses to break down complex business challenges
  • Independently lead high-profile projects and support key strategic initiatives
  • Work closely with the top management and collaborate with stakeholders from various business areas across the 28 countries where JYSK operates
  • Contribute to the future development of Business Development and coach colleagues

WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT
Your tasks and responsibilities in the position will include:

  • Conducting initial analyses to define and align on project scope
  • Leading projects by developing actionable plans and following up on progress
  • Conducting analyses to gain relevant insights for fact-based recommendations
  • Facilitate and prepare material for decision forums and meetings
  • Train or coach colleagues in relevant project management and Business Development disciplines (e.g. structured problem-solving, workshop facilitation, change management etc.)

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING
To succeed in this role, you have strong project management competencies and a know how to think strategically, operate tactically, and set a clear direction for your project teams. Your strong business acumen makes you a confident decision-maker, and you thrive in an environment where adaptability is essential for success. Additionally, you seek to share your experiences with the team and contribute to the department's development and the growth of your fellow Project Managers.

We are looking for a new colleague who:

  • Has a proven track record of independently leading cross-functional projects
  • Has solid stakeholder management skills and can work with all organisational levels
  • Is trustworthy and able to establish good relations
  • Quickly can understand new business areas and participate in discussions and become a valuable sparring partner who can challenge status quo
  • Has an analytical mindset and experience with creating fact-based analyses and recommendations for decision-making
  • Has experience working with corporate strategy development and implementation
  • Has 3+ years of experience as a Management Consultant, Project- or Programme Manager or a similar role – experience within Retail is an advantage
  • Preferably have people management experience
