We are currently searching for a Software Engineer to join our Web Development team at JYSK. This role involves collaboration with various business units, and as an integral part of the team, you will contribute significantly to implement web applications and online shops used by over 100 million customers across 28 countries. Your responsibilities will include creating intuitive user interactions for both our customers and store employees.

WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT 
As a Software Engineer, you are responsible for developing the frontend of our web applications using React. You will also be involved in specifying and refining features and tasks, in corporations with different business areas

Your tasks and responsibilities in the job include:

• Develop and maintain JYSK’s web-based applications
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate the front-end with the back-end application.
• Write efficient and maintainable code using best practices and design patterns
• Taking ownership of our existing applications and helping to identify areas for improvement
• Staying up to date on latest React related technologies and proposing innovative ideas to enhance our solutions for our stores
• Receive and give technical guidance and mentorship in the development team to constantly improve yours and your colleagues’ skills

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING 
We are looking for a new colleague who:

• Has strong React experience
• Has experience with TypeScript
• Can break down and prioritise large and complex features into smaller tasks
• Is eager to stay up to date with latest technologies and motivated to learn new things
• Has good communications skills and work well in a team
• Preferably has experience with enterprise solutions
