Do you have a passion for retail and a profound understanding of the product lifecycle? Are you able to combine your business understanding with a solid analytical toolbox and translate data into forecasting?

As a Demand Planner, you will play an important role in the Flow of Goods department and it will be your responsibility to forecast the JYSK assortment within a specific product area, securing the availability of goods across 10 distribution centres, supplying more than 3.300 stores in 29 countries.

WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT
Your tasks and responsibilities in the job include:

  • Ensuring presence of high quality forecasts on both article and macro level
  • Working in RELEX - machine learning-based demand planning software
  • Contributing to optimal flow of goods and supporting the Supply Planning department
  • Supporting Category Manager to ensure best possible forecast on new articles
  • Playing a key role in the further development of processes within Demand Planning

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING
We are looking for a new colleague who:

  • Hold a master’s degree within Logistics, SCM, Economics, Finance or other relevant area
  • Preferable have a minimum of two years of experience in a corresponding job function
  • Have both theoretical and practical experience with forecasting
  • Are efficient and effective, and you quickly grasp complex systems and relations
  • Are structured, goal-oriented, and willing to go the extra mile for securing the right result
  • Are openminded and possess a straightforward mindset
  • Have a high-level fluency in English - good Danish skills will be regarded as an advantage
