JYSK is looking for a Project Manager in Logistics Development & Controlling

JYSK has more than 3,300 JYSK stores across 48 countries and 10 distribution centres across Europe. Expansion continues to be a driving force in JYSK as we open around 150 stores a year. This is also means that JYSK Logistics invests in more Logistics capacity and continuously develops its concepts, so we can continue to deliver our great Scandinavian offers to our customers.

Job Description

As a Project Manager, you will play a central role in leading and supporting various strategic projects and representing Logistics in cross-functional tasks. Projects are determined by both JYSK and Logistics strategy, works across functional areas and cover strategic, tactical and operational levels.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your ability to:

  • Independently lead various projects and support key strategic topics
  • Work closely with Logistics Management Team and collaborate across many different business areas and with many stakeholders
  • Facilitate best-practice sharing and implementation of various concepts across 10 Distribution Centers
  • Contribute to further development of JYSK Logistics setup and concepts from idea generation to actual implementation

You will independently drive or lead tasks such as:

  • Facilitate JYSK Logistics strategy process
  • Identify actions how JYSK can ensure reliable and competitive order fulfilment
  • Develop new Logistics concepts
  • Define and implement sustainability initiatives

Your strong sense for business makes you a confident decision-maker, and you thrive in an environment where you have a plan until you make a new one. You are able to present your points in an easily understandable and convincing way.

In addition, you:

  • Have experience of independently leading cross-functional projects
  • Have an analytical mindset and experience with creating fact-based analyses and recommendations for decision-making
  • Have strong stakeholder management skills and can work with all organizational levels
  • Can quickly understand new business areas and participate in discussions and become a valuable sparring partner who can challenge status quo
  • Have experience as a management consultant, project- or programme manager or a similar role – experience within Logistics is an advantage, but not a necessity
