Job Description

Do you have a passion for retail and a profound understanding of the product lifecycle? Are you able to combine your business understanding with a solid analytical toolbox and translate data into forecasting?

As a Demand Planner, you will play an important role in the Flow of Goods department and it will be your responsibility to forecast the JYSK assortment within a specific product area, to secure availability of goods across 10 distribution centers, supplying more than 3.000 stores in 27 countries. Moreover, you will take part in the digital transformation of forecasting processes including the implementation of our new demand planning system.

The Flow of Goods department consists of more than 50 colleagues, who cover Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Shipping, and Process Development & Master Data. The majority of the Flow of Goods department is situated in Denmark.

In Demand Planning you will be joining a team of five highly skilled Demand Planners, and you will work in close contact with different stakeholders both inside and outside of Flow of Goods.

Your primary work location will be at our Head Office in Aarhus. You will refer to the Demand Planning Manager.

  • Hold a master’s degree within Logistics, SCM, Economics, Finance or other relevant area
  • Preferable have a minimum of two years of experience in a corresponding job function
  • Have both theoretical and practical experience with forecasting
  • Are efficient and effective, and you quickly grasp complex systems and relations
  • Are structured, goal-oriented, and willing to go the extra mile for securing the right result
  • Are openminded and possess a straightforward mindset
  • Have a high-level fluency in English - good Danish skills will be regarded as an advantage
