In JYSK we always want to improve our performance and set the strongest team, therefore, we extend our project department with a new position as Project Manager within Logistics building and automation projects.

In this position, you will be part of a small team, but responsible for managing either part of a project or being responsible for your own projects.

To be successful in the role the key is securing good communication between all implicated parts – internal as external, planning of thorough project plans/budgeting and follow up status, stakeholder management and of course completion of the project on time.

You will also participate in relevant running projects where your technical knowledge and project management skills contribute to solid and professional solutions within construction/refurbishment of logistic related buildings & facilities. You will support, facilitate and implement flow/productivity workshops during design and implementation of new Distribution Centres.

As Project Manager in Logistics you will report to the Director of Projects, JYSK Logistics. The department is physically based in Uldum in our Distribution Centre, situated near by Horsens/Vejle, but as all projects are international, Europe is your workplace and travel activity is to be expected around 60-90 days a year.

  • Have minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience within project management of international building projects as the responsible leader
  • Have completed a technical education as engineer level or similar
  • Have experience in larger building projects and/or logistic automation
  • Are able to work general and detailed with projects
  • Work with a result-oriented approach and by nature are an independent and proactive person
  • Good in building relations across cultures and see the importance in mutual cooperation internally with JYSK colleagues as with both suppliers and governmental institutions
  • Have strong analytical skills, are persistent and have administrative flair in project management
  • Are fluent in spoken and written English and not afraid to speak up
