In Store Design, we ensure that our customers get the optimal shopping experience, when visiting our stores in more than 28 countries. To support our strategy “One JYSK, One Concept” in the merge of JYSK and Dänisches Bettenlager we are expanding our Store Design team in Aarhus with 3 additional colleagues.

As a Store Planner will have a key role in how we meet our customers, as it is your work, which will lead them through the store.

You will create the required floor plans and documents needed to execute a store project. This includes store and stockroom 2D floor plans, store specific fixture lists and detailed lighting plans.

You will be joining our informal and flexible 9-person Store Design team and will cooperate with competent and experienced colleagues, who are all specialists within their own field. We have an informal work environment with a down-to-earth way of communicating.

You will refer to our Team Leader, Store Design and your work place is located at JYSK head office Aarhus. You must expect 5-10 travelling days per year.

You bring dedication and you..

• may be a Retail Designer or with a similar background
• are fluent in written and spoken Danish and English. German skills is an advantage
• have a structured approach, are good at planning your time and meeting deadlines  
• are detail-oriented and have high work ethics
• are able to work independently, and easily adjust to busy days
• are extrovert, and appreciate being challenged
• may have experience working within retail
• are a team player, and understand the value of consistent quality and achieving common goals
• will interact with numerous colleagues across the world and must be a competent communicator

We work with AutoCAD and experience with this or similar programs is an advantage, but not a must. As we work in 2D, you must have great virtualization capabilities, and be able to envision the store without the use of 3D elements.
