Then you could be our next Supply Planning Team Leader!

In order to further develop our Flow of Goods department, we are looking for a Supply Planning Team Leader who would like to work within the fields of planning, logistics, supply chain management and procurement with one of the most successful companies in Denmark. You will play an important role in the Flow of Goods department and it will be your job to create balance between supply and demand. Furthermore, you will play a vital role in the merge of two companies into ONE JYSK, where communicating and working across borders and cultures are necessary.

As our new Supply Planning Team Leader, you will be a part of the Flow of Goods department, which consists of 38 colleagues who covers Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Shipping, Master Data and Development. The majority of the Flow of Goods department is situated in Denmark, but with offices in both Poland and Germany. The department is responsible for the flow of goods from suppliers via distribution centres to stores and customers in 28 countries. You will work with dedicated colleagues in a busy and dynamic organisation with a professional, yet informal work environment. You must be able to cooperate with different stakeholders both inside and outside of Flow of Goods.

  • Have at least 3 years of experience within Supply Chain planning
  • Have a relevant educational background within Supply Chain Management
  • Have proven results as a leader or you are a highly skilled specialist ready to take the next career step
  • Thrive in an international company and possess the ability to work and lead across borders
  • Take ownership and enjoy taking the lead
  • Are goal-oriented and willing to go the extra mile for securing the right result
  • Are comfortable solving problems and making quick decisions on the go
  • Are interested in and have a way with numbers and systems

High-level fluency in English is a requirement and good Danish skills is an advantage.

High level of Excel competences is a requirement and knowledge of SAP and SAP F&R is an advantage.

The responsibility for a team of Supply Planners, where you will coach, motivate and support the team in order to secure availability of goods and a high level of performance for our stores and customers. You and your team will be responsible for the long-term planning of goods for our eight Distribution Centres spread across five countries.

You will work in a fast pace environment with great colleagues, whom you should both be able to challenge as well as learn from.


Your tasks:

  • Plan, secure and monitor the order portfolio in collaboration with your team
  • Manage, coach and motivate the team while setting the proper example of behavior and value
  • Secure that we reach the company goals
  • Analyse forecasts, safety stocks and risk profiles, especially with focus on merging into ONE JYSK
  • Provide feedback on the performance of the employees
  • Ensure and contribute to continuous development of processes so we constantly strive to be better
  • Contribute to tactics and strategic decisions within Flow of Goods

Your primary work location will be at our office in Aarhus, but you will occasionally work out of our office in Handewitt as well.
