As Project Manager in IT, you will play a central role in succeeding with some of the most important of our IT projects. Projects are determined by our strategy, works across functional areas and cover strategic, tactical and operational levels within e.g. infrastructure, major upgrades or implementation of new solutions.

  • You will independently lead high-profile projects
  • You will facilitate and structure our IT security forum
  • You will work closely with the IT Managers and Architects and work across many different IT areas of an international retail company

You will be involved in different tasks such as:

  • Defining project scope, developing actionable plans and following up on progress
  • Facilitating and preparing material for decision forums and meetings
  • Maintain project pipeline and report on project progress

To succeed in this role, you have a structured approach and know how to think strategically, operate tactically and set a clear direction for the project teams. Your strong understanding of IT makes you a confident decision-maker, and you thrive in an environment where you have a plan until you make a new one. You are able to present your points in an easily understandable and convincing way.

In addition:

  • You have minimum 3-5 years of experience as a consultant, project- or programme manager or a similar role where you acquired the necessary skills – experience within Retail is an advantage
  • You have strong cross-functional project management experience working within an agile project framework – proven track record with large scale IT projects is a big advantage
  • You have solid stakeholder management skills and are able to navigate on all level
  • You are able to quickly understand new IT areas, which enables you to participate in discussions with fact-based arguments for decision making
  • You are trustworthy and able to establish good relations to become a trusted advisor
  • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Knowledge of service oriented architecture is a plus
