Uldum is centrally located in the triangle area, only approx. 30 minutes from resp. Aarhus, Herning, Kolding and Billund. The distribution center is responsible for the daily delivery of goods to the JYSK stores as well as online in Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, Belgium, England and Ireland. In addition, deliveries to our franchise stores all over the world. The warehouse is filled with the latest technology and equipment, which is maintained and optimized by our technical department. General responsibility

WMS specialist is responsible for:

·         Optimizing the throughput in the automated areas at DCU in both WMS and MFS

·         Have an ongoing overview at the operational state

·         Optimize local DCU 1. level support

·         Create DCU Tickets towards relevant suppliers

·         Handling ad hoc task’s from DC Uldum management team

·         Support operational responsible in decision making

Areas of responsibility - overall:

 As  WMS&MFS specialist you must:

·         Daily monitoring and handling of system

·         Be coordinator towards technical department and operation

·         Support technical department in shift change

·         Prioritize error correcting in cooperation with technical department and operation in order to maximize output

·         Support technical department in system handling and prioritizing

·         Perform detailed data analysis to identify area’s for optimization

·         Educate and train DCU technicians and super users in MFS & WMS functionalities to optimize local 1.st level support

·         Identify needed changes in systems

·         Create & follow up at tickets created towards suppliers

·         Secure documentation are established and maintained for processes in area of responsibility

Areas of responsibility - task-related:

 Project & task’s

·         Perform projects and tasks in a structured way

·         Maintain a “Keep it Simple” approach

·         Analyze problems and implement solutions in cooperation with XX

Analysis:

·         Analyze WMS &MFS seeking to optimize throughput

·         Create data based analyzes

Support:

·         Be 1 third of the local 1.st level support for DC Uldum software WMS & MFS to secure performance is optimal around the clock

·         Conduct troubleshooting in the MFS and WMS with focus on reporting and historical data

·         Escalate problems to relevant stakeholders

Specialist:

·         Search and maintain knowledge about the DCU used IT systems including:
      • WMS

·         Seek and maintain knowledge about DCU processes

• Analytical and problem solving skills

• Good command of English and Danish – both written and verbal
• Very good command of MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
