JYSK in Uldum is looking for a Warehouse Managements specialist

JYSK distribution center in Uldum (DCU), is a high-end technological site, with an advanced logistic set-up, in order to supply customers in 25 countries. At DCU, you will find four high bays with a capacity of 216.000 pallets and 300.000 m3. The site was built in 2010 and in 2016 expanded with the fourth high bay. As of now in progress with yet an expansion.

On a daily basis, DCU receives approximately 68 containers and 55 lorries. In the outbound department, the daily volume is 125 lorries. This is handles by 450 employees in a three-shift turn from Monday until Friday.

In order to make logistics machine work with a high degree of stability, reliability and efficiency – thus causing no delays for the customer, we need highly skilled technicians to be dedicated to the job of monitoring, tuning, optimizing and supporting.

You and your team will be the lead group, when it comes to optimize our throughput. This is done by thorough analysis and a mindset of “we can do better”. You will also be the “voice of the Business in Uldum” when it comes to dialogue with our suppliers of equipment. You will eventually be Uldums go-to-person when it comes to our equipment, and together with the operation center and technical department, you will be the major master of knowledge regarding our machinery.

Finally, you recognize yourself when we say, we are looking for a person who can take the necessary steps and decisions on your shift, who is eager to improve results and have the ability to keep you “head cold” when going gets tough!

We need Warehouse Management specialists to cover on a three-shift basis 5 days a week, so please state which shift has your specific interest.

As Warehouse Management specialist, you will join a team of specialist, and report directly to our Logistic Development and Controlling Manager. You will be located at our Distribution Center in Uldum, situated near by Horsens.

• Holds a technical education eg. Bachelor Engineering, Process Technologist or you have gained 3 -5 years of experience from a similar job position
• Bring a solid interest in complex Warehouse Managements Systems
• Holds a personality with interest for the detail, but you don’t get lost in the detail
• Demonstrate an ability to maintain an overview over a multiple of variable, data and possibilities 
• Have a mindset of pro-activeness
• Bring experience from cooperation with other colleagues and departments
• Are fluent in spoken and written English
• Have the drive and ambitions to make a career at JYSK
