You will work closely with project leads, technical experts, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of project activities and operational processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to develop strong project management capabilities within a dynamic, science-driven environment.

Job Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Support

  • Assist in the planning and execution of Industrial Hygiene project activities, including sampling schedules, deliverables, and resource tracking.
  • Support project managers and industrial hygienists by maintaining project documentation, preparing work plans, generating status updates, and coordinating field and virtual meetings.
  • Monitor project progress, assist with data and workflow tracking, and help identify risks, delays, or operational bottlenecks across IH and Built Environment projects.

Operational Processes

  • Support the optimization and maintenance of operational workflows across the IH/BE team, including sampling logistics, equipment tracking, and data intake processes.
  • Assist with tracking project budgets, vendor invoices, and internal reporting requirements tied to IH sampling programs and laboratory analysis.
  • Contribute to the development, refinement, and standardization of IH operational SOPs, templates, and QA/QC processes.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and manage follow‑up actions involving internal technical experts, project coordinators, laboratory partners, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Facilitate clear communication between field teams, industrial hygienists, project leadership, and business operations to ensure alignment on project milestones and priorities.

Data & Documentation Management

  • Maintain accurate and organized sampling datasets, exposure monitoring records, dashboards, and project documentation repositories (e.g., air sampling logs, chain‑of‑custody records, lab reports).
  • Support quality assurance checks on IH deliverables to ensure accuracy of data tables, exposure summaries, and report components.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, data summaries, visualizations, and client‑facing materials used in final reports and internal project briefings.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., industrial hygiene, environmental health, occupational health & safety, environmental science, biology, chemistry, public health, or related disciplines).
  • Strong organizational, time‑management, and multitasking skills to support sampling programs, site assessments, and project documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel for data tables and sampling logs, PowerPoint for reporting, Teams and SharePoint for collaboration).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail in data entry, chain‑of‑custody forms, field notes, and report preparation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional EHS, engineering, and field teams, including support on site mobilization, equipment coordination, and client communication.

Preferred

  • Prior experience or internship in industrial hygiene, environmental consulting, occupational health, laboratory work, or related project coordination.
  • Exposure to IH/BE concepts such as air monitoring, asbestos/lead/mold assessments, indoor air quality, or environmental sampling.
