Company seeks a reliable and detail-oriented person to fulfill the role of New Equipment Modernization Superintendent. This position requires a person with service and elevator business experience. This person will be articulate, personable, professional and efficient.

JOB DUTIES

• Direct responsibilities for this service business, including sales, field operations, customer satisfaction

• Ability to lead and direct field operations for new equipment and/or modernization contracts.
• Level/type of experience will determine distribution of NE and/or modernization responsibilities
• Field education training, scheduling, authorization orders, quality assurance, safety, technical support, expenditure of labor materials, and other assets.
• Ensuring safety performance by all associates
• Maintain open lines of communication and relationships with existing customers
• Develop relationships with internal customers (employees), as well as external customers/clients.
• Responsible to see that modernization projects are manned and completed safely and profitably.
• Performs pre-installation and safety audits and attends job meetings for various OSHPD projects.
• Supervises field employees on site, includes trouble shooting problems with mechanics.
• Reviews and signs off on employee time, change orders, purchase orders, elevator turnover authorizations, accounts receivable, write-offs, credits and other necessary approvals.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all federal, state and local elevator industry code requirements.

Qualifications

• High School education required. Bachelor’s Degree a plus.

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in related field.
• Field experience in the elevator industry required.
• Effective written and oral communication; well-developed interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, tact and patience. 
• Self-motivated individuals that can juggle multiple projects and responsibilities are a must.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a high team oriented and dynamic environment.
• Solid leadership, effective teambuilding, strong communication and presentations skills.
• Capable of working independently, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. 
• Sense of flexibility and grace under pressure. 
• Strong MS Office Suite and computer savvy.

Additional Information

Compensation: $110,000 - $120,000 / year
