Job Title: Digital Services Backend Development

Responsibility: 

• To support the day to day high volume traffic digital transaction messages
• The system was built from scratch to collect the real time binary image data and transfer the data to backend storage.
• a web-based application to let management team monitoring the real time traffic transaction easily and timely.
• The web-based app will monitor the real traffic situation and give the real time traffic data analysis results.
• spring framework as backend.
• integrated IBM workflow system to handle billing, payment, and customer information
• Improved the efficiency of the back-office document processing. Successfully Integrated the Kofax system with management system to transfer paper-based bill, payment, and customer information documents to digital documents.

Qualifications:

Must have skills:

• Skilled in core, newer java related technologies (ie. java EE/8, RESTful services, servlets, Spring, OSGi)
• Skilled in data streaming (ie. Kafka or equivalent)

Nice to have skills:

• Experience in Apache Camel an asset
• Experience with AWS serverless architecture an asset
• Experience in Mobile development an asset
• Knowledge of machine learning (ie. any flavour) is valued
• Knowledge of Python is valued
